With beautiful voice and haunting melodies, Jen Spool takes us to a place that
transcends time, a place where we
gain a renewed awareness of, and appreciation for, both the simple pleasures
and the struggles we encounter as we journey
along our individual paths through life. The threads of her music weave a
fabric which connects us to something we
all share- the collective soul of humanity.
There is an aura of peace and harmony about both her and the music she creates.
Each performance is a one of a kind experience.

Jen will be playing a set at Bazzar Cafe ( 5927 California Street, between 21st & 22nd Avenues, San Francisco) on July 21 at 7pm. She'll be sharing the bill with Austin Willacy (of the House Jacks). Bazaar is a wonderful little neighborhood cafe with great food and a fabulous atmosphere.
The Oakland based singer-songwriter's debut CD, "Soul Threads", premiered at Epic Arts on April 22. The themes on "Soul Threads" call to mind early Dar Williams, while Jen's richly textured vocals carry emotionality reminiscent of Kate Wolf.
