The new CD by Caren Armstrong, entitled Everything, is available by mail order via the Wildplum Order Page, and from CDBaby. The CD release celebration will be on May 20th at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley.

A number of very fine musicians added their talents to the project. They include Chris Kee, Peter Tucker, and Glenn Pomianek (all formerly of the Waybacks and currently with the excellent high octane Americana band Houston Jones); Koto master Shirley Kazuyo Muramoto (founder of The Murasaki Ensemble); Passion Star Records recording artist Edo Castro; Dickie Chicks producer Lloyd Maines; Percussionist Joe Craven (the David Grisman Quintet), and the extraordinary fiddle of Darol Anger.

Looking for digital mp3 downloads of the music from Wildplum artists? You can buy them right here on the Wildplum site, just hit the "store" button, off to the left on the navigation bar.

Our 192 kbps mp3 files are of the highest possible sound quality. They are produced in our own Wildplum Studio using the original 24 bit masters (to which we have exclusive access because, well, we recorded them). Our devotion to quality also demands that we treat each track separately, allowing us to tailor the encoding process to the needs of each individual song. In contrast, other download services source their mp3 files from 16 bit replicated compact discs and use a batch process which treats all songs the same. The result is that the sound of our mp3s is unmatched and is as close as an mp3 can get to the original recording. Hey, we care about the music and the artists in our family. Simply put, that's the reason Wildplum exists.

Wildplum mp3 files are compatible with all mp3 players and the Apple iPOD. For the iPOD, simply download the Wildplum mp3 file to your computer and then use iTunes to load the mp3 file into your iPOD from your computer.

They're also available from most "music services", including: iTunes , Rhapsody , MPERIA , Emusic , the new Napster , AOL's MusicNet , MusicMatch , Yahoo Music , and many more.
Just go to your favorite download site and search for the artist's name. If they do not currently list the artist you want, email the download site and ask them to get the music from our digital download distributor, CDBaby.

Jen's CD release celebration at Epic Arts in Berkeley was a huge success. The standing room only crowd gave her music a warm reception. Pictures from the event are on Jen's web site.

She has been busy performing at coffee houses around the Bay Area and has an active My Space site.

Caren Armstrong's first CD, Every New Day , out of print for a while, is once again available!
